Skintimate Adbuster

This is my second time painting on Photoshop, the first being for a card and this one for an English project. 
For this project, we had to "talk back" to a sexist, racist or homophobic ad a current magazine. We chose to talk to this one, adpharm.net/albums/2015/201505… , an ad for Skintimate shaving gel, with the tagline "Legs so smooth, it's like we're working even after you shave." The original ad shows a high class woman with a short dress and her face cut off lounging in her luxury bathroom, with tiny women dressed in pink cleaning her hairless legs. The text beneath notes how beauty is tied with clean legs.
We created an ad with the tagline "A shave so smooth, it's like your like your legs are hairless," which focuses more on the product than the model. The mentions of beauty are replaced with features of the product, and the company name is no longer sexual. The woman displayed has hairy legs and is placed in a middle class bathroom. The product itself is no longer of feminine colours. 
I feel like I can improve with the skin for next time, and maybe give myself more time to work on the background, because I painted this in one night and was rushing a LOT near the end. Overall though, I feel like it turned out alright.
